My name is Brad. I’m 47 and have lived in Orange County, California for all of my life. I’ve been riding mountain bikes pretty religiously since 2000, when my neighbor sold me a new (probably stolen) Specialized hardtail for $100. I rode it everywhere. It brought back the memories of when I was a kid riding a Schwinn Stingray and jumping off of things in the street with no helmet. Ah, those were the days. Well, I feel like I’m there again. Riding is my escape and my passion. I’ve met some great friends along the way.

Well, I thought I would join the blogging bandwagon and pigeon-hole myself into writing about every ride I do. Orange County has countless trails and it is my duty to ride them as much as I can and report out on the weather, animal sightings, bloody crashes, run-ins with people on the trails, and basically anything else that I find interesting. I hope you will too.
